Scott is a strong believer in positive reinforcement as a teaching
tool and strives to create an enjoyable atmosphere where individuals can
have fun while learning.
This program's emphasis is on the individual, technical skill development
of the child. The ratio of players to coach will never exceed 6 to 1 so
that each player will receive personal oversight and attention. The small
number of participants allows Scott to break the technical skills down to
their smallest components in order to maximize the learning potential.

This program's emphasis is on the technical skill and tactical development
of the child. The program imparts a basic understanding of the fundamentals
of offense and defense. There is a minimum of 8 players, and the group will
never exceed 16. This program emphasizes individual, technical skill development.
However, there is a higher degree of tactical teaching since the groups
are larger than in the Private Lesson program. Through age-specific training,
players are taken through a wide range of skills covering all aspects of
the game in order to develop the players and take them to the next level
of soccer.
The camp format allows for an intensive learning environment in a relatively
short period of time. A major benefit of this format is that confidence
is gained as the player improves and may even master skills due to the time
devoted during the course of the camp.
Topics include dribbling, shooting, passing and receiving/controlling. The
DVD teaches basic soccer skills. Scott explains and demonstrates all of
these techniques in an easy-to-follow format. The dribbling techniques demonstrated
on the video are designed to be performed in a small area so that the player
can practice these techniques while watching the DVD. It is approximately
30 minutes in length, and the cost of $20 includes shipping. Call Scott
to order the Instructional DVD at 817-482-1151.
